Are you currently preparing for NEET 2025 or planning the attempt NEET 2026? A common query among aspirants is:
"How many times can I attempt NEET?"
We are going to answer that once and for all!
👉 Short answer: NO LIMIT on the number of NEET attempts.
That's correct! New NTA guidelines state that candidates can NEET attempt as many times as they like as long as eligibility requirements are met!
So it doesn't matter if your attempt is in 2025, 2026, or later – you can keep trying until you succeed!
Minimum: 17 years on completion of 31st December of the year of admission, subject to relevant rules.
Upper limit: No maximum age limit (per Supreme Court judgement).
Must have completed 10+2 qualification from a recognized institution with minimum qualifications including physics, chemistry, biology, and English.
General category: 50% minimum marks.
Reserved category: 40% (SC/ST/OBC).
